National Cement Company Limited was the third major diversification and growth initiative of the Devki Group.
We started producing cement in 2010 under the Simba Cement brand from a single grinding mill. As demand grew, we expanded grinding capacity five times over in 2013, reached more than 20% of the local market and began exporting across East Africa. To reduce our reliance on imported raw materials, we built our own clinker plant at Merueshi.

The number is the minimum strength, in MPa, that the cement reaches after 28 days. The letter shows how fast it gains strength early on: R means rapid and N means normal. The higher the number, the heavier the structural load it is made for.

Keep bags off the ground on pallets, under a roof or tarpaulin and away from walls. Stack them no more than 10 high and use the oldest stock first. Cement is best used within 3 months.
